About Kim Diamond
With over 25 years of experience in the real estate development industry, Kim has dedicated her career to various projects spanning across different cities in the Bay Area. She has worked for prominent developers and homebuilders such as Pulte Homes, Trumark Urban, Lennar Urban, and Catellus Residential Group, and also ventured into entrepreneurship with her own real estate development and consulting firms, 7x7 Development and ev8 Consulting.
Over the course of her career, Kim has gained comprehensive expertise in all aspects of the development process, including site acquisition, entitlements, community outreach, construction and project management, project lease-up, sales and marketing, and project close-out.
She has successfully entitled and developed thousands of housing units, catering to individuals from diverse income levels, family sizes, and needs, including both market-rate and affordable homes. Kim has focused her efforts on transit-oriented development, the re-use of environmentally challenged or brownfields sites, sustainable development, and urban revitalization projects. Drawing from her wealth of experience, Kim founded KD Shae Development with a focus on new residential development projects in Marin County. Recognizing the pressing need for housing in her own backyard, the firm aims to serve the needs of both current and future residents in the area.
